This course is an introduction to the field of business management. Topics
include developing mission, vision and values, organizational culture,
leadership, decision-making, organizational behavior, motivation, and human
resource management. This course will present a survey of the basic methods by
which managers have operated businesses, large and small. Foremost are the basic
concepts of planning, leading, organizing, and controlling. Embedded within
these key concepts are numerous skills that, when mastered, will allow you to
embark on a career in business management.
