This course is designed to introduce the student to key concepts and movements of literature and to make
the student familiar with the diversity of global cultures, represented through texts from across the globe.
By the end of the course, the student will have gained analytical skills and developed multiple perspectives
to examine texts globally both at and beyond life at the university. As world literature transcends national
boundaries, students taking this course will be able to contribute more meaningfully to the rising global
market and thrive with an awareness of inclusivity and diversity of cultures.
