This course covers inferential statistics, estimation, and hypothesis testing. The emphasis in the course is on the presentation of statistical methods and on the interpretation of the outcome. This course considers inferential statistics: point estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, tests for goodness of fit and independence, power calculation and ANOVA, linear regression, multiple regression, and logistic regression. The JASP software is used as part of the teaching. By the end of this course, students will be fully equipped to analyze data and use it to make inferences and conclusions about real world phenomena.
